By leveraging ClickUp’s capabilities, we maintained a clear overview of our progress and effectively coordinated efforts across all team members.

A Software Engineer's Dream
To efficiently manage and track the progress of our production, we employed ClickUp, utilizing agile methodology—a widely adopted approach across the IT world and major corporations. In our ClickUp board, tasks were meticulously created and assigned to specific individuals, then organized into three columns: To Do, In Progress, and Completed. Each task was detailed with a description and associated tool, ensuring clarity and accountability. Supporting materials resulting from each task were added in the comments section. To streamline our workflow, we established multiple backlogs, including separate boards for each act, the narrator, music, and dances. The accompanying screenshot illustrates our organized task management process and how ClickUp facilitated a structured and collaborative environment.

We utilized VirtualBox to set up a virtual machine running Linux on our computer. Within this environment, we developed a Python script designed to console log our text, enabling precise control and integration of our narration throughout the production.

Insights into the Narrator
We incorporated a unique and evolving primitive narrator into our production using a cool retro Linux terminal interface and a custom Python script. This innovative approach allowed us to visually and conceptually track the narrator's development throughout the show. The video showcases the narrator's inception, starting as a simple entity born in the early scenes. As the narrative progresses, the narrator evolves and gains complexity, ultimately culminating in a dominant role by the end of Act 3. This evolution highlights the narrator's growing influence and integrates seamlessly with the overall story, enhancing the thematic depth and engagement of the performance.
